The beauty of cherry blossoms in Japan

Cherry blossom is the national flower of Japan country. Cherry blossoms in Japan consists of hundreds of species, common species of Prunus × yedoensis (Yoshino Cherry, pink and white), Sakura Forest (pink and white), yamazakura (white), yaezakura (colored white or reddish purple), shidarezakura (the branches fell like willows, red flowers) and others - others.






Flowering period of this cherry tree is very short, which in Japan is known as a figure of speech that is "7 days cherry blossoms", which means that since the sakura bloom and wilt return time approximately 7 days, and whole cherry tree from the first flowers begin to bloom until all the flowers wilting takes about a half months.




In Japan, cherry blossoms are considered as bearers of good fortune and luck.
